Wind Energy in India
In 2017, India becomes the 4th largest wind power generator in the world by power generation capacity of 32.17 GW following China, America & Germany. With goal to achieve 175GW capacity by 2022 & I am sure we will achieve it.
As of March 2017 accounting nearly 9.87% of India's total power generation. States - Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Odisha, West Bengal & Jammu & Kashmir contributes for wind power generation.
Indeed its a sunset picture but its the rise of this unseen, powerful source of energy for the future.
