MonsoonScenes

"The traveler sees what he sees. The tourist sees what he has come to see."

RoadTrip to one of the scenic mountains of Western Ghat - a UNISCO World Heritage site which receive highest rainfall from the monsoon. This photograph is captured few kilometers out of Tamhini Ghat which is situated about 75kms west of Pune on which connects Konkan with Pune with road to Kolad, Pali & Mangaon. This route is used by Maharashtra State Transport from Pune to Konkan buses such as Roha, Murud, Srivardhan, etc.

Drove 150kms total that day. In my ford Endeavour, with friends. Shooting for "World Meteorological Organization" aka WMO- UN's authoritive voice on weather, climate & water.
