HAL's 100th Hawk - Hawk-i

" H A W K - i "

First indigenously upgraded Hawk Mk132, named as Hawk-i revealed on the Republic Day on 26th January 2017. This is the 100th Hawk aircraft (HAL 100) produced at HAL, Bengaluru and as a part of Make in India. 

The HAWK-i is the upgrade to BAE Systems Hawk Mk132 with integration of new sub-systems or modifications, obsolescence management of avionics systems and to enhance the aircraft operational and training capabilities. The Hawk is still in production in the UK and under licence in India by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) with over 900 Hawks sold to 18 operators around the world.

Departing out of Yelahanka Air Force Station for a demo flight during Aero India 2017, Bengaluru held in February 2017. This 100th Hawk-i is painted in this amazing looking blue colour scheme which attracts attention immidiately.
