World Pilots Day - 26 April

Being a pilot is a childhood dream for most of us. For those who made this dream come true, it is the indefinable joy of incredible freedom feeling of the flying.

Even though it’s a dream job for many people with its mental and material satisfactory factors, contrary to popular belief it is a fact that it requires constant determination, altruism, and devotion.

With the decision of TALPA (Turkish Air Line Pilots’ Association ) and the decision of International Federation of Airline Pilots Associations (IFALPA), it has started celebrating 26th April as "World Pilots Day" all over the world since 2014.

"I believe I can fly.
I believe I can touch the sky.
I think about it every night and day.
Spread my wings and fly away.
 I believe I can soar.
I see me running through that open door...
 I believe I can fly."
-R Kelly

Best wishes to all my pilot friends across the world. Have a wonderful year ahead. Fly Safe.
