T2 from above

The new iconic Terminal 2, Chhatrapti Shivaji Int'l Airport,Mumbai - is India’s first and most advanced vertical passenger terminal that integrates world class design, architecture, infrastructure and operational efficiency, with a rich infusion of Indian heritage and cultural character.

One of the most beautiful airport terminal  building in India serving the 2nd busiest airport of the country,covering 210,000 square metres of land area & giving floor area of 450,000 square metres across four floors and will eventually handle both domestic and international passengers.Constructed by Larsen & Toubro (L&T). The entire project was estimated to cost US$1.5 billion and employ over 12,000 workers.

 It will include new taxiways and apron areas for aircraft parking designed to cater to 40 million passengers annually. The iconic structure will have boarding gates on two piers extending southwards from a central processing building featuring a 42-metre high roof employing over 20,000 metric tonnes of fabricated steel covering 30 acres.
